The Mount Association was founded in 1909. The membership is by subscription and is mainly former pupils of Mount St Mary’s College and Barlborough Hall School. Membership is also open to all parents or guardians of Mountaineers and Old Mountaineers and current and past members of the teaching staff and Governors of the college. The association is not part of the college but is run by elected officers and council members who are all life members. To find out more about the association please see the about us page.

First Friday Mass - The Next First Friday Mass will be held on the 3rd February 2012 7pm in the Sodality Chapel.

Richard John Thompson (OM '72-'81)

It is with regret we inform you that Richard collapsed and died suddenly from a heart attack on Friday 16 September. Requiescat in pace.

His funeral was held in the Memorial Chapel at the Mount on Friday 23 September at 2.30pm. followed by a private family burial service on the family estate in Darfoulds.

Richard was a life member of the association and an active member of the council providing enthusiastic support to our recent meetings.

After the funeral we attended refreshments and a celebration of Richard's life at the Hop Pole Eating and Drinking House, Retford.

Celebrating 100 Years 1909-2009
